Performer Peru Flores was once in need on of a savior. At thirteen years old living in South America, hormones were at an all-time high while his identity was at an all-time low. Now, on the cusp of a major discovery that will change his life forever, he will soon realize that maybe — just maybe — he was the savior that we needed all along…?

In a one-of-a-kind show, Peru goes on a trip down memory lane, being thirteen in his favorite sanctuary (his bedroom). Featuring real home video footage, dance numbers, and music from Grammy-winning Latin rapper/singer Nathy Peluso, White Savior is a love letter to the identity crisis one experiences growing up brown, queer, and lost.

Peru Flores is a New York Times featured queer comedian, actor, and writer, originally from Cusco, Peru. His work includes "The Kite Runner" (Original Tour), "Unpopular Opinions: A Comedy Debate Show" (NYT's Critic's Pick), and the viral hit comedy podcast, "Pioneers and Trailblazers". He has been featured in multiple publications including The New York Times, Time Out NY, The Washington Blade, and Outsmart Magazine.
